Meditation is an age old modality that has existed before time. In this session our certified wellness practitioner, Maria Boo Boafo, will lead you through mindful stillness to foster peace, calm and intention. Maria has lead mindfulness meditation for organizations such as Pepsi, The Mandarin Hotel, Yeshiva University and many other prominent organizations so you are in for a transformative experience!
Quiet the mind and the soul will speak.” – Ma Jaya Sati Bhagavati
"Meditation is not about stopping thoughts, but recognizing that we are more than our thoughts and our feelings.” — Arianna Huffington
Meditation can help lower your blood pressure, calm your muscles, your breathing, and allow you to focus on the present moment. Mindfulness, which is simply being completely aware and accepting of the present moment, is a tool we can employ to help alleviate our stress and anxiety. By bringing your focus back to this very moment – these very breaths – you can refocus your attention and feel more grounded and centered.
